1. On 1 December the government-controlled Shanghai Stone-Crushing Company
at 200 Kiukian; Road, Shanghai, hired about 1,000 laborers to excavate
at
the base of two mountains north of Suagchiang (121-15, 31-01), Aprlroximately
10 tens of explosives are to be used during the month on the project.
The
company has 24 stone-crushers each capable of crushing 50 tons of stone
per day.
