A Polish signal unit was in a cantonment near _iorz (Q 52/0 9Q during the period from the spring of 1948 to June 1950. The cantonment was located on the aa;.st side of the L F icrz-Fiala (Q 52/0 95) roads just north of t ha railroad line and south of a small ':roods. It as corlposed of about 10 wooden buildings, each of then a:: aut 25 rioters long. of these buildings appeared to t?e occupied by personnel.
