1. Recent movements of the Chinese Gomm mist 28 ArnV eve as fo11c _
a. On 29-30 November two regiments arrived at Lieno3iang (119-31, 26-12)
from Nanp'ing (118-OS, 26-39) via Foochow.
b. On 6 December the 250 Regiment, 84 Division,* moved to Lienchiang from
the Fuch'ing (119-25, 25-43)-Haik'ou (119-28, 25-'4) area via Ch'anglo
(119-34, 25-56).
c. In mid-December elements of the 28 Army were bnilcting defenses in the
P1uk'ou (119-36, 26-34) coastal area, northeast oar Lienchiang.
d. On 19 December the 83 Division Headquarters' arrived at Lienchiang
from Fuch'ing,
2. In mid-December construction was reamed at Mahsian October.*** Airfield.
Work had previously begun in August and ended ea id-
December leveling of the field and constructions of a oontrol tower, gasoline
storage tanks, and barracks had been completed. Work an runways and under-
ground hangers is being accelerated and all work at th3 field is scheduled
fpr completion by the end of December.
