L A list of leading members of the Rumanian Workers Party showing a tendency
to acquire "bourgeois habits," as shown by their luxurious clothing, house
furnishings and general mode of living, is presently being compiled.
2. All members of the Rumanian Workers Party who are purged for deviations from
the Party line or for inefficiency are being tried in closed sessions in
order not to discredit the Party publicly. The number of members presently
handled in this fashion is described as "qui- a large,"
