1. Elements o f the 83 Division, 28 Array, are in the Ps utt ato ou (34s, )
Phuknou (: 12 ) area, northeast of Lienchiang (11931. 2612).
2. On 31 December a number of mountain guns and heavy weapons arrived in
Paukflou aboard 15 fishing boats.
3. About 200 sailboats are at Hsiaochteng northeast of Lienchiang.
It is rumored that Chinese Communist troops at Hsiaoch'erig will soon
attack the Matsushan (1204- , 26- ) area.
4. About 100 sailboats, of which 15 are motor-driven, are in the Ch'umen
(121-17, 28.15) area.
$. About 100 sailboats, of which six are motor-.driven, are in the Ksannen
(121-.16, 28--06) area.
6. The Chinese Communists are rebuilding and consolidating defense work
along the Shanghai-Nanking highway.
7. Dependents of members of the East China Military District Command are
being moved to Wuhu (11823, 31-21) from Shanghai.*
