1. Chinese Communist stook piles in Hong Kong, which total 270,000 tons, were
being shipped to the Chinese mainland by train and ship in early January
1951. They included 20,000 tons of metals, 160,000 tons of machinery,
20,000 cases (each weighing 60 patties) of dynamite; the remainder was
gasoline, truck tires, industrial chemicals, and pharmaceutioals. About
twenty fishing boats and junks were being chartered to carry these goods to
Canton.

Communist government sent about twenty secret investigators to liong Kong to
check on local stock piles of materials which the Communists would seize in
the event of their invasion of the C..lony.
