Houhai (4 ?= ) Airfield; near Paean (113-.6, 22-32), is-under construction.
It is to have a'rum7ay 3,000 feet long and 120 foot aide, running parallel
to the seacoast. It trill be used only by fighter and reconnaissance planes
and will also serve as an emergency refueling station.
Installations at Paishihi (106-22, 29?.30) Airfield are as follows:
Ea . 'tiro run rays, each 12,000 feet long and 130 foot aide.
~b. Control tarar, radar, and night landing facilities.
c. Forty now concrete hangers at the south end of the field, with a
distance of 200 feet between hangars.
d. Twenty gasoline dumps, each with a capacity of 500 drums, at the
southwest corner of the field.
Twenty ammunition dumps at the foot of a small hill at the west end
of the field.
f. A newly constructed road, connecting the field with Chungking.
One battalion of Chinese Ccmmn nist troops to guard the field.
Installations at Chiulungp?u (106.05, 29-20) Airfield are as follarrst
a. Two gravel and cement runLays, each 10,000 feet long and 120 feet wide.
b. Thirty gasoline dumps, each with a capacity of 500 drums, at the southwest
corner ol'.the field.
