The Bogovina coal mine is situated approximately-1,5 kilometers north of
the village of Bogovina, and on the western side of the Boljevac...Podgorac
road., The mine is connected with the Zajecar.-Paraon narrow gauge rail-
road by a branch line four kilometers long. The mine is

ordixate to the Ministry of Mines of the Republic of Serbia in Belgrade,
2- The planned annual production norms for 1949 and 1950 are as follows:
19149 - 60, 000 tons
19.50 - 70,000 tons
The total 1949 output reached 55 000 tons of brown coal with 15 percent
ash content. A major portion of the output is consigned for consumption
in the Bor mines, while the remainder is used by the Yugoslav rails oad.sa

The mine is supplied with electric power from. the Zevezdan thermo-,
electric power plant. The power, at 35,000 volts, is carried by a
three-phase wire of 35 mm diameter, supported by wooden pylons,, Ths

purchase food from local farmers but there is a shortage of living
