The Bogovina coal mine is situated approximately-1,5 kilometers north of the village of Bogovina, and on the western side of the Boljevac...Podgorac road., The mine is connected with the Zajecar.-Paraon narrow gauge rail- road by a branch line four kilometers long. The mine is ont ll b c ro ed y its own directorate whim. is located at the mine and is directly sui- ordixate to the Ministry of Mines of the Republic of Serbia in Belgrade, 2- The planned annual production norms for 1949 and 1950 are as follows: 19149 - 60, 000 tons 19.50 - 70,000 tons The total 1949 output reached 55 000 tons of brown coal with 15 percent ash content. A major portion of the output is consigned for consumption in the Bor mines, while the remainder is used by the Yugoslav rails oad.sa 3, Reserves - a Categories A and B : 120,000 tons b0 Category C : 5009000 tons The main factors 11 mit.ing output are: ao Shortage of manpower. b. The power, at 35,000 volts, is carried by a three-phase wire of 35 mm diameter, supported by wooden pylons,, Ths nine also has its own power plant equipped with a steam-powered 't enerator and a 500 PS built-up alternator achinery and eg2i~pme.nt ea.
