Sim 14 January Rail Traffic Three trains composed of 38 freight cars, nine tank care and 21 gondolas carrying loge, coal and cases. One gondola carrying flour was unloaded at the Khuda Afarmn post. 15 January Rail Traffic Three trains composed of 13 passenger ears, 25 freight cars, 12 tank cars, 43 gondolas, and 10 gondolas carry- ing logo, coal and four trucks. 4. Astara 15 January Road Traffic North and'southbound between Astara and Lenkoran: two jeops, one ambulance and 12 trucks carrying six officers, 32 arsssd.and 24 unarmed soldiers, boxes of cartridges, lime. hay, and two portable wireless sets. Three cavalry officers were also observed. East and westbound between Astara and Maejed Mahalleh: 10 trucks and eight carts carrying two officers, 92 armed soldiers and 29 civilians. A group of unarmed infantrymen was also observed. Between Maejed Meha,lleh and the post under observation farthest west: nine trucks and 10 carts carrying one officer, 24 armed and eight unarmed soldiers, 16 civilians and foodstuffs. 12 boats fished at sea off Astara. Three soldiers engaged in rifle practice at Astara. Three rockets were fired at Masjed Mahalleh and two at Astara. 5. Lutfabad 13-14 January Rail Traffic (report for two days) Eight trains composed of 31 passenger cars, 21 freight care and 84 freight ;:ars of which 12 carried logs, 5 carried foodstuffs, were empty and the remainder were covered. 50X1-HUM Eastbound: 10 trains composed of 31 tank cars and 258 freight care of which 53 carried coal, four carried logs, five carried guns, six carried armored carstwo carried weanons carriers, three carried aircraft, one carried autos, 41 were empty and the remainder were covered.
