1:, Through a high-ranking official in the civil adm.inistration in the

Dr9 Heinrich Gleissners Landeshauptmann of Upper Austria whose head-
quarters is in Linz.. to make immediate inquiries concerning the type
and nature of employment of persons who reside and work in Lira. The
Urfahr Komlandatura also indicated that its agents would soon investi-
gate the activities of the individual district administrations in the
Nuehlviertel. At the same time leading functionaries of the KPOO Landes-
leitung of Upper Austria who live in Linz were directed to move to Urfahr.

REMARKS
It was learned that the above mentioned measures are only the beginning
of further measures planned by the Soviet ?'ilitary Administration in Urfahr
for intorferring with the zonal border traffic and to separate the Luehl-
viortel economically and politically from the southern partion of Upper
Austria.
