1. i shed with a roof and a loading ramp were being built at
the railroad spur on the northern section of the Xersnburg
(Iva 52,/'D 91) airfield on 3.1 November 1950. Rail oad cars with
shipping tickets reading "Ilalle-Mersoburg'Faere unloaded at the
ratu_a. T =se cement covering an area of i0c1 c1.5 to 2 meters,
was stored in the shed. The cement was unloaded frc u the railroad
cars; he shed was to be en1argad. !`: watchtower which was un-
occupied was recently erected on the tm torn edge of the field.
.soviet soldiers erected a telephone line 6 meters high from the
southwestern corner cf the field, over the ordnance de?ot and the
barracks area, toward the tovni.
2. 'ore building material, particularly loose cement, wa.!i unloaded
between 13 and 27 Novomber, One power shovol and about five con-
veyors were on the field. A power line led from the spotlights
at the firing range across the field to its northeastern corner.
The fence on the southern edge of the field was moved about 50X1-HUM
10 meters toward the south.
