The locomotive columns stationed in Frankfurt/Oiler (0 53/V 63) 50X1-HUM
were engaged in routine. operations on 21 December 1950. No
heavy-duty flatcars were dispatched toward the East. (1,) There
was no change in the status of the reserve locomotives kept cold
in Beeskow (N 53/V 41). (2)

Twenty-four locomotives and three cabooses were still on sidings
at Uckro on 22 December 1950. (3) 50X1-HUM
4, Ten locomotives were shunted to a siding at the Beeskow railroad
station on 28 December 1950. (2)
5o Up to 23 December 1950 there was no change in the status of the
reserve locomotives kept at Ducherow and Strasburg. (5) .
6, Tvienty-four locomotives and three cab.-ores were still standing
at Uckro on 29 December l950 m (3)
The reserve locomotives previously observed at Ducherow and Stras-
burg were still there on 30 December 1950, (5) and (6) 50X1-HUM

(5) The locomotives of deactivated Locomotive Columns No 6, 12, and
11 are kept at the railroad stations mentioned,
(6) Summarizin , it can be stated that up to the end of December 1950
there were no indications of employment or imminent employment
of the locomotives of deactivated columns. Such employment of
reserve locomotives would, however, become necessary if the
Soviets should plan transportation operations exceeding the pre-
viously observed volume, and thus the capacity of the six
locomotive columns presently in operation, with a total of about
150 locomotives,
