REPORT NO.
1. Due to the recent drought, the Albanian cereal harvest will supply the
country for only three months,, Instead , of the usual six to seven months
under normal conditions,.

2, The trade agreement with Rumania signed in December 1950 provides for the
importation of Rumanian cereals in exchange for hides and wool. These
cereals are destined for the civilian population, while the USSR will continue
to supply cereals for the Army,
3. In December four'USSR and two Rumanian ships arrived in Durres. Two ships,
one of 10,000 tons, discharged cereal cargoes destined for the civilian
population and the military.,
