During the course a special Gerr=?~n a.utor-itic rifle, model 43N, was used with German or 3'eopta model 48 tele- scopes. Tra.inng was given in firing at fixed and moving targets at distances of frog 200 to 60f' meters. 2. The officer in charge of the snipers course was Staff Captain Ceech, CO of an inf.n:-ry battalion,, unit no. 1102, in Bar (050/M31) near Tabor.* Cech had repre- sented Czechoslovakia in the O1yr.~pic gn.rnes in London.
