5. No planes are permanently stationed at Mukden airfields, but plane traffic
is constant through East Field and North Field. There are no radar-or

7. From three to five pianos occasionally use Changkueichuong 4t_) Airfield,
Tientsin, for refuel5.n, but no planes are stationed there. One battalion of
troops is guarding the field. Tfi, early Ilovemmbor construction was started on
an airfield at Yangts'un (117.-O , 3923), '20 miles from Tientsin. This con-
struction was, still under way in Decomher.

There are 16 Soviet jet fighters and 1, transports at the recently repaired
North Field,, Pullen. These planes are all piloted by Soviets, who are
billeted at the Air Force Building on Nanking Road.

The school courso is 18 months.
