5. No planes are permanently stationed at Mukden airfields, but plane traffic
is constant through East Field and North Field. There are no radar-or
anti-aircraft installations at these fields. They are guarded by 12300
troops.

7. From three to five pianos occasionally use Changkueichuong 4t_) Airfield,
Tientsin, for refuel5.n, but no planes are stationed there. One battalion of
troops is guarding the field. Tfi, early Ilovemmbor construction was started on
an airfield at Yangts'un (117.-O , 3923), '20 miles from Tientsin. This con-
struction was, still under way in Decomher.

There are 16 Soviet jet fighters and 1, transports at the recently repaired
North Field,, Pullen. These planes are all piloted by Soviets, who are
billeted at the Air Force Building on Nanking Road.

and a rcximateiy 400 students at an air ?oroo training school at the field.
The school courso is 18 months.

10. There are no paratroops training t ?ciping or Tic tsin. Four Chinese
Carnrtanist paratroop brigades have oaxpleted training at Chimusau.
