THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
Soviet troops, with tanks (length of gun two meters) and artillery, are
billeted in Constanta on Strada Stalin (formerly Carol )# and on Strada T3ircea.
There are about one thousand troops at each place,
2. The following is the legend for the attached sketch:
1. Fortification located on itrada Mircea. It is camouflaged with planks to
prevent observation from the outside,
2. This fortification is camouflaged by a wooden wall two to three meters
high, Before the wall was constructed I Czechoslovak
machine digging to a depth of 1.5 meters. After the digging was completed
the wall was constructed.
3o The fortification between Agigea and Et'oria has a wooden wall three meters
high and is guarded by five or six sentinels, This fortification was
built by young boys.
4. This is the former location of 34 Rumanian Infantry Regiment, Now 800 to
1,000 Soviet troops plus guns, tanks, and American Studebaker trucks are
located at this site. The guns on the tanks are two meters long.
5. The former location of 13 Rumanian Artillery Regiment. Now r 800 to
1#000 Soviet troops plus guns, tanks, and American Studebaker and Soviet
trucks are located here.
6. The former location of 18 Rumanian Artillery Regiment. Now 800 to
1#000 Soviet troops plus guns, tanks, and American Studebaker and Soviet
trucks are located here.
