1. 'An employoe of the Cottbus (I' 52/A 57) Bauunion Firm said that the
locomotives and railway tracks of the Cottbus airfield Were trans-
ferred to t7elzaw (N' 5 WA tai) on 11 . December 1950, and that the
.:olzovr airfield was to be i; proved by the auunion--joutIa Finn. Tho
cost of the construction is to be 10 million ,Past marks. *
2. On Jul Decembor 1950, an employee of the L,ottbus construction bureau
said that the Bauunion.- oath Firm was first scheduled to undertake
construction at the aerneuchen (I' 53/V 06) airfield, but that this
plan was changed since the firm was to improve the .eelzow airfield,
The firm allegedly had to discharge all laborers, except for the
cadre personnel, as the required work force was to be drafted in
,lelzaa by the local labor office. The employee further said that
grading work and runway construction were to be done in WelzoW, and
that the improvements on the ::erneuchci airfield yore to be taken
