The following broadcasting stations are to suspend operations temporarily
until the end of 19508 because of technical work to be perf orraed:
a. The two stations Leipzig I and II, both IOOOkW transmitters, will be
given a general overhaul. It is also planned to replace the old radio
tower.
b. The frequency range of the station n~Bernburg, a 20-W transmitter, will
be enlarged.
~c. The station at Schwerin.. a 23 k l tramitter will be transferred from a
wooden structure to a brick building and simultaneously will be given
a general overhaul. Its frequency range will also be enlarged., and its
operations will be maintained by means of 24ktiW transmitters.
