One thousand Chinese Comrunisttroops were dispatched from Paoshan to relieve,, 29000 jwoops -at T n engeb s ung (98-20; 24-49). Troop movements between Kuninih'.`,ndd'aoshan were cut of by nearly 32,000 KMT guerrillas. 2. One thousand Chinese Cornrminist troops entering Chanhsi (9808; 25-04) met resistance from I r-7 guerrillas. Approximately 100 Communists Were killed against two K?T casualties. 3. Some 16 Commmunist battalions, or 48800O Communist troops,' are being dispatched to Western Yunnan to control the states formerly ruled by the Chinese Saw boas. 4- Iwo hundred Communist troops from Paoshan arrived at Wanting to relieve troops there. 5. The second Political Consultative Conference will be held in Peiping some time in March 1951.** The Chinese Embassy has been instructed to send one reexresentative from Rangoon. 6. LIU King-i, Vice President of the World Federation of Trade Unions, is ected to trrivee in R*ngoon on 9 February from Calcutta to attend the Trade Union Congress (Burma) Meeting. 7.
