25X1 1. A military air base, is based at the Prague-Kbely airfield.
The military garrison at e ase consists of between 800 and 900 Men and
from 70 to 80 officers. About 80 rercont of the soldiers are anti-Co mu.-
nint. The officers who served during; "or1.d 'Tar II with the Czech Army of
the 'Test have been dismissed from the Air Force and replaced by Co-nunist
subordinates. Every spring two meteorological courses, each attended by
about 100 non, are given at the field. The field has two rarallel runways,
each about 1,100 m lonry and 60 rn ride and about 100 in apart. Planes based
