At least 2,000 troops were training at the drill grounds sortthwest,sou.t11
and east of the two barracks. They were engaged primarily in infantry
group training. Groups of from six to eight rsmen were also seen training
at .el ht AT m7 of 76.2 ran, There was also training with 80 mm mortars.

with motor transport insignia, occupied by a tank lieutenant colonel
and a lieutenant colonel who wore red-bordered black epaulets without
