1. The North Korean Amy continues to recruit men aged 17 to 50.
Twenty thousand recruits are in the training area at Sadong
(125-49, 39-0l).
2. The North Korean Interior Police and a very few Chinese Communist
and North Korean troops were observed in Pyongyang. Fifty thousand
North Korean troops and five Chinese Communist divisions were
rumored to be in South Pyongan Province.
3. It was rumored in Pyongyang that the Chinese Communist 1 (sic) Army
moved from Manchuria to Kanggye (126.36$ 40-58) prior to 3 March,
