car line on the side led from Gorki to the airfield,, The tempo-
rary street.,cur terrminus was in line with the field although
the track continued:, A new sf.ngls-track railroad :line coming
from Gorki ran along the field., A metalled road beg-inning, at
the streetcar stop crossed tie railroad line and led into the
field area, There was high forest (.mixed woods) west and south
of the field, the western section being cleared by flying lanes:.

in the west section of the airfield, along the edge of the ;,,,oods
Only the rough contours of more buildings and hangars Were seen
in the woods southwest of the field,,
