there in the spring of 1950.

The quarters' west of the airfield seemed to house a headquarters. Sentries
-core artillery insignia. There was no vehicular traffic.
Gate guards at the remonte .serne wore red-bordered black epaulets. Fif-
teen groups of 12 soldiers each were engaged in infantry training on the
road to 11aldensleben. motor vehicles observed at the i onte Kaserne were.
