l The Perlober ; Or S4/T 70) airfield ,.'as still- occupied by army troops on 20 -and
22 February 1951. No wilita' y activity was seen at the field,, Only, motor
vohicles with Soviet Army numbers were seen entering and leaving the field.
2. On 28 February, no indications of construction work'v:ere observed'at the field'.
Sovi'.;t Air Force soldiers have been observed recently in the streets of Ferle-
berc; o
3. A resident of Suakow, northwest of the airfield, said that survey? ng had been'
cionzo in the fields near Suekow about three moi the ago and that. the 'farms south
of t'.ia roan passing thrc gh the vi11ave of Suck= v:er?e also surveyed. It was
assumed by source that these farr s ;?ould have to be evacuated for t'r:e extension
of the airfield. The resident also :paid that certain fields soutl, of the village
road had een surveyed and payment of 12,000 eastmarks was. r ado for20 acres.o
