1.
No units of the paramilitary polices under the Hauptverwaltung fuer
Ausbildung? will participate as uniformed formations in the 1951 May
Day rally in Berlin. HVA staff officers will be permitted to attend
the rally only individually and in civilian clothes. Also, the special
HVA May Day celebration which was to be held in Friedriehshagen (N53/VO4)
has been cancelled.
2. Several HVA officers who have been scheduled to attend a training course
in the USSR have been given permanent assignments in regular T/0 positions
in Germany.*
Comment: It appears that the entire program for training HVA 50X1-HUM
officers in the Soviet Union has been called off.
