All of the planes taxied to the aircraft revetments on the eastern edge of the field. 2. One jot fighter landed at the field on 5 l!arch at about 9:30 a.T? in hazy weather. Inmediately after the landing one tank truck and one jeep with trailer aeproached from the eastern edge of the field. The motor vehicles stayed next to the plane for some time. ,he fighter then taxied to the dis- persal area. 3. ?en railroad tank cars were standing on the spur track in line with the flight control station on 10 arch. 4. Gn 14 :_arch there was no flying between 4:30 and 6 p.m, because of rain. Four P0-2s, four conventional fiehters and 17 :71a-15s ..:ere parked on the eastern edge of the field. Four stand-by jet fighters erere parked in front of the flight control station. * The stand-by planes were towed to the eastern edge of the field by tractors. They were probably being relieved, Tho radio installation w-itha searchlight was still in the northeastern corner of ',he field. ** Another searchlight with a gene- rator was seen just south of the eastern and of the runway. 5.
