For several weeks the unit had boon equipped with a second mobile transmitter which frequently changed its location. 2. During the period from 26 February to 11 :.:arch flying was conducted at the 50X1-HUM Dessau airfield only on 3, 5 and 6 :arch. The planes circled over the field without retracting their landing gears. There was no night flying. 3. On 3 and 6 :7arch, 21 :13-15s covered by tarpaulins were seen at the eastern edge of the field. (6) About 25 senior lieutenants were seen shopping in Trucks 4th a wooden superstructure wore soon proceeding toward the quarters south of the field, 50X1-HUM/ Dessau. 4. On 5 7.arch a searchlight mounted on a truck was seen by the side of the radio truck in the northeastern corner of the field. On other da -s this truck ha not been noticed there. 50X1-HUM this truck continually changed its location. Comments. (1) This stater.lent presumably refers to the situation in the fail of 1949, when a fighter regiment, previously located in Kocthen, moved to the Dessau air? field.
