1. From 1 to 10 :,:arch 1951? the Flak Kaserne in ,ieimar CU 51/J 57)
still quartered about 1,000 troops who wore red-bordered black
epaulets, including some with artillery insignia. Routine training
activity was observed in the billeting area, with 160 to 200 troops
engaged in basic training and weapons drill at one time. Five 37-mm
artillery pieces were seen in the barracks yard. Motor vehicles
observed at the installation included driving-school vehicles

Tho eaatern section of the Tannenberg Kaserne was still occupied by
a unit of about 120 men. The unit in the central section of the in-
stallation furnished motor vlhicles of all typos to other units at
the post. Repair and ,mintenance work on motor vehicles was observed

about 403 troops who :ore red-bordered black epaulets with artillery
insignia. Atout 200 unarmed soldiers engaged in basic drill and several

was. cenfirmed there until 20 :lovember 1)53.
The Panzer Keeerne on Jenaerstresee is believed to quarter
with the3'30 kol.-mandatura. As early as the Zell of 19500
estimated the number of treons ihere at 250 to 330.
