The North Korean Central Guard Division has been expanded by shifting 3,000 men from the special Plyongyang City Security Brigade. The division's mission is to provide protection for KIM Il-sang and govern- ment ministers. 2. The headquarters of the North Korean Army, Government, and Labor Party has been from West P'yongyang to Kangdong (126-05, 39-06), northeast of P'yongyang. Underground snelters are prepared there. KIM Il-sZing's headquarters was formerly in the Taesong-ni (125-570 39-02) mine area. 3. The North Korean 15 and 17 Task Forces are between Anbyon and P'yongyang. 4. Five divisions are at ChurOnwa (125-48, 38-52) for regrouping. The North Korean 5 and 18 Divisions moved from Namehon-icom (126-24, 38-20) to just north of Kaesong (126-330 37-58) 50X1-HUM 5. Three T-34 tanks and approximately 160 artillery pieces of various types were moved into the Kangdong-Taesong-Sunan (125-41, 39-12) aree 50X1-HUM 7. A unit described by Chinese as the Third Task Force of the Chinese Comi.unist forces is in the Chorwon area. a.
