North Korean government installations were in the follow- 50X1 -HUM
ing locations:
a. 7any political, military and Communist Party organizations were using civ-
ilian houses on the small hill surrounding Pvongyarl: Stadium and other near,-
by residences.
b. North Korean State Security 3ureau ;leadquarters were along the railroad from
r.),ronang to Tongrong (125-47, 39-07)(YD 4133), approximately five miles
north of iyolvyz14; a:ad a few hundred feet south of the l'ighway to Simian
(125442, 39-12)(YD 3242), which branches off the main Pyongyang-Torv:song
highway. The headquarters occupied a two-story western-style building and
a Korean,-style building, 3oth surrounded by thick pine trees and almost in-
visible from the air
