There was a house to house canvass, The results were poor, even though threats were implied. Receipts were given to those who contributed. Much of the populace handed over ragged clothing. There were some who locked their doors to the nvassers. This campaign was carried on throughout Ru max ,a? In connection with the above,, there are reports from Bulgarian refugees en route to Turkey, of collections of money for North Koreans, which were started in December 1950.
