1. of the construction of now wooden observation towers
c are being erected between Mangalia and Constanta. These are about
30 meters high and located about six to seven kilometers apart.
2,2, There are three such towers now finished and an estimated four more to
be 4onstructed. The work of erecting them has been undertaken by various
state commercial firms. among them the P.C.A. (Porturilor si Comunicatttlor
pe Apa . Ports and Waterways) and Alimentara (State commercial enterprise),
3. When these were observed in March 1951, the three completed towers were
not manned. Each of them face the sea, and overlook the surrounding region,
