South China Military and Administrative Committee., arrived in Canton
en route from Kwangsi to Hankow.

food frcn Kwangtung to the forces of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (DRV)
The sending of food to the DRV is in accord with orders from Peiping to the
Central and South China Military Area Headquarters. YEH refused to send more
than the share already allotted. claiming that the reserve of foodstuffs in
Kwangtung was small and it was impossible to send more,,*
