1. The railway bridge over the Vistula River at Tczew (Q55fD59) rthich was damaged
during; the war has been temporarily repaired, but is still cak. Trains
cross at a m imum speed of five I~mf hour0 There is only one track, the
other having; been dismantled and removed by the Russians. The bridge is
of riveted steel construction, 2.5 to 3 Ion. long; it rests on{ nine pillars,
seven of, concrete and bricks, and two of steel on 'wooden pile4'. It is 25 m.

2. The road bridge over the Vistula river at Tczew was also dams d during the
war. A wooden construction approximately 40 meters in length joins the
aforementioned railway bridge and serves as a by-pass for vehicle and pedes-
t~rian traffic transferring to the existing part of the old road bridge.
3. The main road betieen Chojnice and Krolezviec (Konigsberg), built by the
Ger._iaris during the war, runs at a distance of approximately five knio south
of Tczew and crosses the Vistula at Kxgbawa. The Germaps destroyed two
pillars of this bridge daring their retreat. The bridge was rebuilt,to its
original form in 1950. It is a tivide, concrete construction, 25 meters above
water-levels and has nine spans. An iron railing 1.2 peters high runs on ~..
each side of the bridge.
