THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
The Skoda Works, Komarne (P48/176) consists of the old shipyard, which was
in operation before World Waar II, and the new shipyard which was started
just after the War in 1945 Since May 1950, the old shipyard is handling
only repairs of old ships. i'his includes the mounting of now Skods. Diesel
engines. Between May 1C' August 1950 the following ships were repai d:
HASSAN (former!- the German ship UALT.EFt, which now belongs to
the USSR), Er,;ine and hull repairs.

The new shipyard bui.ds towboats of between 100 and 200 tons as ordered by
the USSR, Rumania, 3 tlgnria, and the CSPD. Between 1 and August 19501, five
towboats were complir ed. The now shipyard h :u fulfilled only 80 percent of
the quota under the :' -ve year Plen. Motor beats are to go into prcduct .on
toward the latter raFu o ? 1950.

shipyard is a narrow-?gauge, railroad and rail connections with the Komar: io
