Between 9 and 29 Liarch 1951, the achuotzen Kaserne on Bernauerheer- strasse, :& ers aalde (N 53/V 03), eras still occupied by 4g500 to 5,000 troops. About 13 percent of the windows of these barracks buildings which could be seen iron the street were lighted at night- fall.
