THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION Cr, 2.; *** r 1077,, A diagram of the Vhlaczewice transloading point five km west of Tore represents the status at, of mid-January 1 c?-? a_rp ',.uring the period from 14 to 18 February 1951, it was observed that 10/00504 Ualeczewice tranoloading point was equipped with a car-converting plailitarm The cars were taken to a pit, propped up on timbers, and their axles tapzed. The i'procedure required only a few minutes. ** 1 "570;12-HUM '50X1-HUM c= On 21 February 1951, it was ascertained tliat Soviet freight trains from Germany still proceeded as far as Brest-Litovsk without being transloaded in Halaczewice. This indicates that the new transloading point is not yet serviceable. *** Comment. For track diagram, ses Annex. Comment. This procedure is merely an exchange of wheel sets wicj?EMF=T the most freqiently used method. 50X1 -HUM 50X1 -HUM Comment. The observation that the Yalaczewice translcading point was not yet serviceable in late February 1?51 is believed to be correct. However, it may be assumed that Soviet traffic from and to Germany will continue to be rOuted via Brest-Litovsk and that the new LIAlaczewice transloading point will exclusively serve Polish-Soviet freight traffic. This arrangement would considerably ease the strain on the Brest-Litovsk railroad station. I Annex: One sketch 50X1-HUM Documenl No. No Change In la 3S Cass.
