30 percent of its staff-, This move was made not only through lack. of. raw

rtoterials, but also because of lack of funds to pay the employees.
2.. The Sofia slaughter house has also recently reduced its employees by
30 percent in order to save on salaries.
3. The textile industry in Gabrovo and Sliven is now operating only on paper.,,,.1
The factories, open only to keep the machinery in use, are producing a
purely noz anal amount of cloth,, This condition is caused entire.ly by the "
lack of wool and cotton which have not been delivered by the USSR.

the USSR and this year threes have recently been closed.
