The troops in the Husaren Kaserne in Bautzen (0 52/A 60) were alerted on 4 April 1951. A train with tanks was subsequently seen leaving toward Dresden at pi-mut noon and a tank column moving to the railroad station at sundown. * one train with tank troops and arotho:50X1-HUM with artillery troops had passed through the Bautzen railroad station on h April, coming from the direction of Loebau and proceeding toward Dresden. 2. A troop unit was loaded at the Eilenburg (N 52/E 32) railroad station on- 10 April. Twenty trucks and 15 artillery pieces, probably AT guts or light guns, were loaded on 25 flatcars. 3. Fourteen new T-34 tanks, 2 standard T-34 tanks, SP guns 50X1-HUM 6 rocket launchers, 1 armored reconnaissance car, h. truci:s1 2 tank trucks, - and 2 motorcycles were loaded on a train at Leisnir (I-, 52/K 69) railroad station on 10 April. The tanks 14* troops engaged in the loading work wore artillery and tank insignia. Among 50X1-HUM them was Colonel Kusmin, (fnu), the comanding officer of the troops at the post. A Soviet lieutenant said at the troops would move to Koenigsbrucek? which was subsequently confirmed by a railroadman.. A train of 10 coaches carrying troops with red?bordered black epaulets and 6 freight cars carrying eight four?wheel armored scout cars, 12 armored per? sonnel carriers and several trucks 50X1-HUM passed through Taucha near Leipzig (rl 52/E 31) on 50X1-HUM 16 April. -M- 5. Advance details of troops in oschatz (n 52/E 71) left by truck for Koenigs? brueck?Schmorkau on 14 April. The present report indicates that troops from the other posts also began leavinr by rail. The troops observed in Taucha near Leipzig were components of the 8th Gds Yeez Div Colonel Kusmin, (fnu), was identi? in February 1951 as the commanding officer 50X1 -HUM Pled of the units in Leisnig. Comment.
