railroad station and left toward Iluellrose between 17 and 22 April 1951:

red-bordered black epaulets were observed with the convoy. Another convoy
of trucks with billeting equipment was assembled on 21 April. Trucks

4. On 16 April, only 100 to 150 soldiers wearing red-bordered black
epaulets, some with tank insignia, were observed in the Buelow
Kaserne at the intersection of Fuerstenwelder Strasse and Post-
stress?. One Captain Stulov (fnu) picked up material for the
Buelow Kaserne at the All emeine Trans ort e (shipping
company) on 13 April.
5. Only a few soldiers with black-bordered crimson epaulets were
seen in the northeastern section of the Eichhorn Kaserne on
20 April. Twenty-fivertnasianwomen had arrived from the direction
otthe railroad station aboard a truck
on 15 April. The southwestern section of the
barracks installation still quartered about 1,000 troceas who were
blacks-bordered crimson enaUlets? Trucks
liwere seen in the billeting area.
6. The main ming of the Hindenburg Kaserne on August-Bebel-Strasse was
being reconditioned on 20 April. A new board fence bisecting the
entire billetine area was erected nhemt Po meters behind the main
building. the Soviet steamship
company would mcve into the main building from its present location
in the teachers ? training college. The Hindenburg Kaserne quartered
about 400troops who wore red-bordered black epaulets with tank

7Q On 19 April, the Hofbauer Kaserne at the intersection of Birnbaum-
muehlsstrasse and Schubertstrasse still quartered about 100 soldiers
who wore rod-bordered black epaulets. The installation still served
as a transient billet for officers of various branches of service?

10. The personnel strength of the Soviet komendatura in the Yellow Press
building on Puschkinstrasse had not changed up to 20 April. The former
labor office building quartered about 100 soldiers who were red-bordered
black epaulets and black-bordered crimson epaulets. **
