TrOODS with tho following materiel were loaded at the Frankfurt/Oder railroad station and left toward Iluellrose between 17 and 22 April 1951: Date 17 April 18 April Shipment 20 T-34 tanks 50X1 -HUM The loading was super- vised by a colonel who was seen shuttling between the 50X1-HUM Infarterie Kaserne and the loading ramp in sedan 18 T-34 tanks including 21 April About 20 tanks 22 April JS tanks 50X1 -HUM kitchen trucks and 4 boxcarloads of billeting equipmen-0?X1 -HUM 50X1 -HUM four 50X1-HUM armored personnel carriers marked with an upright rhombus, and 12 truckn, 2. A convoy of trucks loaded with billeting equipment; and trucks towing artillery pieces, assembled in front of the Ziethen Kaserne on 18 April, with tho trucks facing toward the Autobahn. Four officers and 12 soldiers wearing red-bordered black epaulets were observed with the convoy. Another convoy of trucks with billeting equipment was assembled on 21 April. Trucks and two officers and 15 Ell with 50X1-HUM 50X1-HUM 3, On 20 Apri1cthe Artillerie Kaserne on Au2ust-3ebel-5trasse quartered only 150 to 200 soldiers who wore red-bordered black epaulets with artillery insignia? On 16 April, only 100 to 150 soldiers wearing red-bordered black epaulets, some with tank insignia, were observed in the Buelow Kaserne at the intersection of Fuerstenwelder Strasse and Post- stress?. One Captain Stulov (fnu) picked up material for the Buelow Kaserne at the All emeine Trans ort e (shipping company) on 13 April. 5. Only a few soldiers with black-bordered crimson epaulets were seen in the northeastern section of the Eichhorn Kaserne on 20 April. Twenty-fivertnasianwomen had arrived from the direction otthe railroad station aboard a truck on 15 April. The southwestern section of the barracks installation still quartered about 1,000 troceas who were blacks-bordered crimson enaUlets? Trucks liwere seen in the billeting area. 6. The main ming of the Hindenburg Kaserne on August-Bebel-Strasse was being reconditioned on 20 April. The installation still served as a transient billet for officers of various branches of service? Howevere the turnover of officer personnel NAB less than previously observed . On 20 Aprilothe Horn Kaserne an Nuhnenstrasse still quartered about 600 troops who wore red-bordered black epaulets, including a few with tank insignia.
