1. on 2 April 1951, that the MID camp on
Regattastrasse, Berlin-Gruenau, consisted of nine low brick
buildings, including a building for cultural performances
and a ner kitchen building. Radio antennas were suspended
from wooden nolns braced by r'uy lines. 17otor vehicles seen
in the camp
2. On 5 April, the camp in Berlin-Gruenau consisting of 3
one-story brick buildings quartered about 300 troops who
wore green epaulets and 40 to 50 eoldiers who wore crimson
epaulets. The camp furthermore cent,ined an air raid shelter
converted into garages for about 20 leotor vehicles and a
redio instaltation f four wooden poles, about 20 meters
high, which were interconnected by three double antennas
each, Three lead.ins ran from the center of each antenna
to a wooden shed,
3. Garages sheltering about 45 trucks, about 30 paesenger cars,
2 fire trucks, and 1 ambulance were located on the athletic
field of the railroadments sports club -on Regattastrasse.

4. The restricted area bounded by Badereeestrasse, Koenigsee-
strasse, Reeattastrasse and the Dahme River was occupied by
Soviet dependents and guarded by solcliers with green epaulets,

5. The hotel at 73 Regattastrasse quatered Soviet military
personnel. A few EVD soldiers were seen in a neax?-)3y
school, the gymnasium of which had been converte(1 into a
club.
Lgmagrits, The IND camp in the angle formed by Regatta-
strasse and Bohnsdorferstrasse quarters an MVD sinal unit.
This restri;ted area is believed to contain
MVD offices in addition to dependent billets.
