1. Chinese Communist troop disposition in south Yunnan is as follom:
Elements of the 13 tmNy are in Kraiyuan (103-III, 21-42).
b. The headquarters of the 36 Division is in Mengtzu (103-23, 23-20) with
units at Chienshui (102-500 22-38) and Shihpging (102-28, 2342),,

i. The 109 Division* in in Fohal (10G-26, 21-58) with units in the solthern
distri;te, including a regiment In the Lanteang (96441? 26-32)-Niwa
(99-71r 22-36) area, Two thousand man of the 109 Division have ben
ordered to Indochina,
4., TWO Communist soldiers captured at Nspan by.Nationalist p:uerrilles state

5. On 10 April 30,000 guerrillas in the YUnnan-Ktnichow-Kwangsi border area
killed 7,000 and captured 19500 Commun5sts9 and captured 2,700 rifles* 14
mortars, 71 machine-guns? and 58 Sten guns.
6. The Mitu-Cbleli 100-50, 21-5) highway passing through Kengtung, Komongp
Loshun, gad Linehiang (100-22, 21-)2), 71W5 ordered completed by the end of
1951, with in extension to Fohai. The Fdasi-guraing hiqhway will be
completed by the end of 1951.
