Two Eilenburg (NN 52/E 32) railroad officials independently
told source that the Soviet unit from the .Artillerie I~aserne,
Eilenburg, left by rail for KKoenigsbrueck on 10 April 1951,
leaving behind a rear unit of about 60, soldiers in the
barracks installation. Among the troops who had departed
were two colonels, one named ,Uikhailov, (fnu). Source
believed the other colonel to be the commanding officer
because he was addressed by the soldiers as Kommandir (sic).
2, Between 20 and 23 .April, no training activity or vehicular
traffic was observed at the Artill.erie Kaserne. Sentries
wore red-bordered black epaulets. *
