A secret agreement was signed between the Chinese Communists aid the
Government of Burma (GOB) by which the GOB was to permit Chinese Communist
troops to pass through Burma to exterminate LI Mies guerrilla units 'and
attack northwestern Thailand. Chinese CoLmunists will guarantee the
territorial inte ty of Burma sand agree to meditate peace bet en the
GOB ii Burmese Communists. As a term for cooperation between the GOB
end Burmese Communists, the Burmese Communists will be given one-third
of the seats in the Burmese Cabinentm
