During a Carman-Polish transport conference held in Kuestrin-Neustadt on 4 and
5 April 195j-, it was learned that Karlheinz Gra.hl, political commissar of the
transportation police,,, was in charge of the political surveillance of the
personnel of all locomotive columns stationed in Frankfurt/Oder and of the
workers emplo;jcd for maintenance on the Oder/P.eisse bridges,, Grahl is 25 years
of age and comes from Berlin,, *?
