1. At 9:30 a.m. on 8 'ay 1951,,there vrzr. flyinC :with six swept-back jet A ig;hters
at Alt Loennovri.tz airfield. The cloud base,'r.is about 500 .'Slotcrs and
- visibility about 10 to 12 Ian,, There were inter-mittont shcwers. Flying was
still in progress at 1 p.m. Nineteen additional jot fighters with swept-
back win s. tut no conventional. aircraft, were seen 'at the field. * The
interior part of the hangars, which were -artially open, could not be seen:
A radio truck and about 20 men were seen at the take-off point on the
western end of the runways There was flirinp in formations of up to four
planes. The flights lasted about -0 to 40 minutes,
24 A radio installation rith four marts about 5 to 6 meters high and about 5
meters square, vas still located in an area in the southern section of the
lane i.n-,; field. The radio installation in the eastern extension of the runway,
vest of the rai.lrosd line, was, _,srtially dismantled and only a wooden hut
and a mast about I; to 5 meters high ~;wnre loft. A cable line led from there
to the radio installation near :3eiersdorf.

stationed at the field cannot be determined because the aircraft are parked
in the hangars when not flying,,
