On 1.7 La1 1951, 45 jet fighters with swept back wines, It biplanes, and 3
ein le-on : nc lowwvrin ; rionoplanos were counted at Fin= airfield? The red
numbers 7, 119 13, 279 1115, and 1146 were seen on six swept-back wing jet
aircraft. * The radar set in the cantonment north of the Finow Finowfurth
railroad line was dismantled. Two motor v Ilea with numbers of the B 7'5 xac
series and one vehicle with a number of t~ze ~"-06 xx series were seen,,

oont? The airfield is occupied by two fighter regiments and one

i:.iC-15s and some trainers of F0-2 and Yak-l1 Mmes. Thirty-two red and
33 black two--digit numbers have been seen on P,:iG-15s. This indicates that at
".east 65 Ei.G ISs are stationed in Finer. In addition to tyro--digit numbers.,
numbers from 100 to 199,n from 200 to 299, from 1,000 to 1,099, and from
11100 to 1,199 have been recently observed on jet aircraft,, It has not been
dote.~r..ned whethor these new maxi-c ings have a special significance. It Jr,
helicvad that the numbers are Given to two-seater MG-15s, which are used for
?graining purposes. Similar new numerical designations have also been observed
on aircraft stationed at other airfields of the 71st Ftr Corps.
