2. These Soviets were in Chungking in February 1950 at which time they had
supervised repairs to machinery and restored the production capacity of the
20th,, 2ltthg 29th., and 50th Arsenals in the Chungking area, During the
present trip they will check the progress and study plans for the expansion
of arsenals and the problems of the supply of raw materials. The group
plans to visit Kunming before returning to Peiping, --_ 25X1A
