The 41 Air Technical Division (VTD) with headquarters in Skopljel has three
battalions, each comprising four to six companies w th a strength of from 120
to 160 men in each company ip The Division operates a number of mobile repair
shops for airplane accidents, emergency landings, and similar mishaps. It is
entrusted with all repair work connected with air units and vehicles attached
to them, in the Skoplje area. Planes which have been severely damaged are
shipped to Kraljevo or Zemin. Units of the 41 Air Technical Division (VTD)
are hoascd at the old airport north of Skopljo in barracks and under tents.
Small contingents of drivers, mechanics, timesmiths, welders autonechanics,
carpenters and blacksmiths are attached to the various battalions of the Division,
2. An Air Pursuit Division is likewise stationed at the SkopljC airport. It has
three regiments, each regiment constituting 12 squadrons. The squadrons have
9 to 12 airmen and three pursuit planes each.. Emergency airfields at Ovoje
Polje east of SkOpljoi.one of which is locate near the village of Susica,
are used by the Pursuit Division. The varioue planes attached to it are YAK
aircraft, Stormoviks, twinemotor UJA (sic) planes with a machine gun at the 25X1A
tail end, Se49 and aR0-2 (sic) aircraft. The latter two types are'
25X1A The total number of aircraft stationed at Skoplje is reported
to approximate three hundred and sixty planes)- Training schools for pursuit
planes are located at Kraljevo and Rajlovace near Sarajevo. Attached to the
Pursuit Division is a ground force unit consisting of three battalions. Each
battalion has three companies, and each company has a strength of from 80 to
100 men.
An Air Bomber Division is stationed at Mostar.
Large reserves of octane are located in the Sar Planina areas, where there are
reporteely 17 large underground deposits. The deposits are reached by rail
departing frau' the General Jankovic station vest of Skoplje to Ljuboten, in
the Sar Planina,
50 Two infantry regiments are stationed at Skoplje? and are listed as the 97
Infantry Regiment, and the 102 Infantry Regiment. An armored car unit with
armored curs of Gorman Italian and French manufacture is stationed in Skoplje
and is housed in the old infantry barracks near the manufacture,
cemetery for the
World War I Dead.

regiments Should have a total of 108 planes if each squadron constitu three
and not nine planes, It is very likely, however, that reserve planes are
located at the Skoplje airport, which are not included in the organizational
structure,
